Description

Sensor Hub

Have everything you need for a comprehensive end device in one place. No need to hustle around, the choice is made easy. Connect all the sensors you need to just one device.

The RAK2560 WisNode Sensor Hub is a modular sensor ecosystem consisting of the Sensor Hub Smart Datalogger and multiple pre-configured sensor probes. With pluggable, interchangeable probes, and the option to add third-party sensors to the mixture, the Sensor Hub is a suitable and versatile solution platform for various IoT applications where environmental monitoring is needed.

The Sensor Hub consists of a robust waterproof enclosure with 2 sensor probe ports to connect the sensors or an external power source like a solar panel.

Depending on the deployment location, the device can work in full battery mode or with an external power supply.

Sensor Hub and its sensor probes are easily configured via the WisToolBox app, which is available for mobile and desktop.

Note: The Sensor Hub has two variants based on the communication type - LoRaWAN® only and LoRaWAN®+NB IoT. SensorHub's NB-IoT module supports two types of LTE (Long-Term Evolution) categories, namely CAT M1 and CAT NB2. CAT M1 offers higher data rates and lower latency, while CAT NB2 provides ultra-low power consumption and greater coverage, making it an ideal choice for devices that operate on batteries and require long-term connectivity.

NOTE: The Sensor Hub can be powered with 2 to 4 ER18505 non-rechargeable batteries. They are NOT INCLUDED. You need to supply them separately.

When using Sensor Hub with Sensor Probe IO it must only be powered with the dedicated power supply. The power adapter can be selected from the “Check to include” section.
